Grandma's Estate
My grandmother was born in 1923 to a French family who immigrated to the U.S. seeking a better life for their thirteen children. She grew up in vibrant New Orleans but traveled to France throughout her life. She financed these trips through her love for sewing.
The luxury items she purchased on these trips became cherished family heirlooms.
She lovingly passed personal treasures to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I started selling on Etsy to find worthy new homes for the remaining pieces from her estate—each one filled with history and meaning.
My grandmother was a remarkable, feisty, five-foot-tall woman with a laugh that could light up any room. She was honest, caring, and deeply loved by everyone around her. This year, she would have turned 101 years old in heaven, and I miss her dearly.
